Douglas County GOP Resolutions & Board Declarations
Douglas County Republican Central Committee July 23, 2022
Be it resolved by the Douglas County Republican Central Committee:
WHEREAS We are in solidarity with the Republican Party of Texas and the Maricopa County Republican Committee on the 2020 Election;
WHEREAS We believe the 2020 Election violated Article 1 and 2 of the US Constitution, that various secretaries of state illegally circumvented their state legislatures in conducting their elections in multiple incorrect ways, including allowing ballots to be received after November 3, 2020;
WHEREAS The 2000 Mules Documentary irrefutably proves election fraud occurred in Maricopa County during the 2020 Election in the form of ballot trafficking through drop boxes;
WHEREAS We believe that substantial election fraud in key metropolitan areas significantly affected the results in five key states;
WHEREAS The Arizona Senate audit of the 2020 Election found significant inconsistencies and discrepancies;
WHEREAS In Oregon, ORS 260.695(14) prevents chain of custody to be verified for ballots deposited in Unofficial Ballot Boxes that are not under the regulation of election officials;
WHEREAS Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum stated April 14, 2022, “Even when systems are not directly connected to networks, they are vulnerable to attack through physical or wireless access.”;
WHEREAS Oregon Election Director Steven Trout was fired during the 2020 election after raising issues regarding the security of aging, no longer supported software in use for the 2020 election;
WHEREAS Heritage.org has ranked Oregon as 48th as one of the worst states for election integrity due to dirty voter rolls, ballot harvesting, and lack of voter identification;
WHEREAS Oregon Republican Platform holds that we must ensure accountability and transparency in our elections;
NOW, THEREFORE, as shown the 2020 election as certified has significant defects raising question as to its validity. We hold that no election can be properly certified unless it is properly conducted. We strongly urge all Republicans to work to ensure election integrity and correct all fraud and weaknesses identified in the 2020 Election. We agree on the following key principles to protect America’s election systems: voter ID laws for both in-person and mail-in voting, clean voter rolls, common-sense election administration safeguards, and all Oregon counties should be required to provide copies of ballot images, at no cost, to election integrity groups who provide a free public service whenever requested as per ORS192.324 section 5.
